Personal Statment-
Allison Camara is in her senior year of highschool and has big goals for her future. She has been fortunate to spend the past two years in the leadership program at Ripon High School, making this year her third year. Her last year in the program she decided to branch out and become a Senior Class Officer. With this decision she is excited to lead her class as Senior Class Admin. This program has taught Camara life skills that no other class would have exposed her to such as public speaking, organizing events, the importance of communication when doing anything in life, and professional skills such as preparing for an interview and going through a Mock Interview during the year. Camara is heavily involved around campus other than being in the leadership such as this being her 4th year apart of the Ripon High volleyball program with this being her second year on Varsity. Camara is also involved in Link Crew, which is a program that helps out incoming freshman and new students when arriving at Ripon High. This program starts at the end of the year introducing 8th graders and continues to the following year for freshman orientation and many other events. Camara is a part of Girl’s league, which is a club at Ripon High that promotes the importance of sisterhood while also completing community service throughout the year. After high school Camara hopes to attend a 4-year university and major in Health science. She hopes to follow a career path in pharmaceutical sales or becoming a dietitian/nutritionist for a university. Throughout all of this Camara hopes to maintain her health and happiness while not becoming overwhelmed with her future plan.
