Position Assessment:
So far into the start of the school year, as Senior Class Administrative Assistant, I have contributed in planning and completing Senior Sunrise on August 9th, the first day of school. This event was a huge success as we got a lot of participation from the class of 2024. This was something we were a little worried about because we were changing location which meant changing tradition. We also added some things such as the Balloon release which captured the idea of making a wish for your senior year. Along with this we also sold Senior sunrise shirts this year which we allowed the Senior Class to come together as we tie dyed these shirts together. During Pow Wow we sold Senior class merch which was a great accomplishment. The first week of school the officers also put the Welcome Back signs out for the first week of school bringing positivity to campus. Throughout all of this I have had a major role in communicating with the bookkeeper. We also have started discussing Grad Nite with Mr. Yonan and how we will be publicizing it throughout the next month before sign ups are due on September 12th.
Standing Committee:
One Standing committee that I have been a part of throughout the beginning of the year was the sign committee. This will continue throughout the rest of the year
Special Committee:
So far this year I have not been a part of a special committee, but I am excited to help with the Back to school dance and any other events in the near future.
Mentorship Evaluation:
Bella has been doing great so far in the program. I have completed the mentor assignment that Payton wanted us to complete which was simply sending our mentor's contact to her. I was also able to help Bella start the set-up for her professional website, all her pages are ready for content.
Concerns/Changes:
One concern I have so far is for the back to school dance not doing ticket sales in person. I understand that this will eliminate the crowd, I just think everyone getting tickets at lunch drew attention to the student body that something was going on. I think this will be more of a trial and error type of event.
Positive Comment:
My positive comment is to the class as a whole, I feel that we have been well prepared for the year, especially Homecoming. Everyone in class has shown their passion for these events and how we are all ready to start planning!
Core Principles:
Evolve and grow with change- Through the start of the year we have had many changes throughout our program. I definitely did not see myself taking on the role of Senior Class admin, but I am so glad I did. Through this I have had to develop and learn many new skills and how to communicate through this position. This change in my position I feel has really allowed me to grow individually and along with the other senior officers.
Be Impeccable - To me, being impeccable means that you are doing your best in everything you do. I feel that especially with the other senior class officers we get along very well making planning and decision making easy. I feel like we are doing an excellent job taking responsibilities and getting things done early. Personally, I have made sure that everything I am in charge of is completed and also making sure that reminders are sent out to others when things need to be completed. I want to be able to hold myself and others accountable. Staying on top of things is important for this principle and I think that I have been able to demonstrate that well.
Your puzzle Piece matters- I think that this far in the year I have definitely been more confident in voicing my opinions, I am not completely sure if that is because I am an officer and I feel like I have a stronger role or if individually I am just becoming more assertive. I hope to continue this strong voice throughout not only the rest of the year but throughout my life.
The Beacon of Empowerment- This is definitely one I can improve on throughout my daily routine, but I would say I have tried my best to show this when encouraging others to participate in school activities, not just leadership students.
My Impact:
So far I feel like I have had a silent impact on the senior class. I feel like not everyone or at least many individuals realize the Senior officers put in so much work and effort to put on events for them. I feel like I had a big role in organizing Senior sunrise shirts and the rest of the event. I hope to continue to have this impact to make the class of 2024 have the best Senior year they possibly can while not forgetting to include myself along the way.

Position Assessment:
The Senior class officers have been working a lot on homecoming the past few weeks. I specifically have worked on finishing purchase orders for decorations and other items we will need in the next few weeks for homecoming. We have worked on our float, lemonade stand, and rally poster and have made a lot of progress. The senior Class was also able to organize the senior class merch and take inventory which will be handed out Wednesday after the Candidate rally. Lastly, the officers had a meeting with Morty to start the process of planning graduation.
Standing Committee:
One Standing committee that I have been a part of throughout the beginning of the year was the sign committee. This will continue throughout the rest of the year.
Special Committee:
So I have been a part of the publicity committee for homecoming where I was able to make a couple posts for the eventful week. I am also a part of the coronation committee for homecoming and we will have our first meeting Friday morning.
Mentorship Evaluation:
Bella has been doing great so far in the program. We were able to sit down and complete our goals for the year which consisted of personal goals and goals together for the rest of the year throughout leadership.
Concerns/Changes:
One concern I have is just throughout all the chaos of homecoming that everyone is going to let the stress take over. I am hoping this doesn’t happen and we are able to get through homecoming as a class and have fun doing it.
Positive Comment:
My positive comment is specifically for the senior class. I am excited about our participation so far during homecoming and everyone's coming together. I hope that this stays for not only the seniors within leadership but also our senior class as a whole.
Core Principles:
Evolve and grow with change- This is something that we definitely have to embrace during homecoming. There are so many changes we just have to make work and do our best to make everything work out in the end. There have already been some changes while preparing our float that we have had to make work and we did. I think that this is a time where this core principle will need to be remembered.
Be Impeccable - Lately I have felt that I have been impeccable with most of my actions but can definitely improve on some small ones. I think that I have been working hard to make everything I do be the best it can, but things like procrastination for that work is for sure something that I need to work on and improve on. I hope that after homecoming when things mellow out a little bit that I will be able to focus more on this core principle for myself.
Your puzzle Piece matters- I think that the exercise Morty did to truly make this statement come to life was eye opening. It made me realize that if one of us is not working our hardest or even just slacking off a little, it affects how we perform as a whole class. This has led to me trying my hardest to put a lot of effort into our program not only for me, or the class, but for the whole school.
The Beacon of Empowerment- I hope that this is one core principle that I can work on through homecoming as I encourage my peers to participate in activities, dress up days, and even just small events.
My Impact:
I feel like the past few weeks the senior officers have pretty much been go go go, which is not a bad thing but is definitely keeping us busy. I am excited to say that senior merch will be handed out to the class after the prep rally and I think that was a big impact that we as senior officers felt as we are able to give them a finished product. I also have been working non stop on homecoming activities so I think that impact will definitely be felt next week.

I was not here for Kyoto, but from what I heard everyone thoroughly enjoyed the entire time they were here. There was a little break after homecoming but not much as we went right into warm and fuzzy where the senior officers decorated the tree for the MUB and also painted the lemonade stand for the Night rally on Wednesday. We did not place but our theme was gingerbread man for the tree and our lemonade stand was a fireplace with stockings. Overall, I was proud of our work and this the Warm and Fuzzy Night rally turned out great. Personally, I have worked on filling out PO’s and procedure forms for warm and fuzzy. For the upcoming winterfest week, seniors theme is taylor swift. We are having a meeting on Monday to decide on final ideas for activities throughout the week. We also have worked on nominating candidates for winterfest champions. I have worked on purchase orders for winterfest in the past week as well. I was able to help the sophomores clean up with Winterfest and clean up the Warm and fuzzy night rally. I was also able to help with the dude be nice rally in celebrating Mr. Herrin.
Standing Committee:
One Standing committee that I have been a part of throughout the beginning of the year was the sign committee. I was able to help with this during Dude Be Nice and Warm and Fuzzy week. This will continue throughout the rest of the year.
Special Committee:
I was able to help with CASL and also help clean up formal and the warm and fuzzy night rally.
Mentorship Evaluation:
Bella is always doing everything she can to make our program excel. She never hesitates to ask questions when needed, but normally she knows exactly what needs to be done and exactly how to do it. We completed the mentor assignment in november and december by posting the fundraiser on instagram.
Concerns/Changes:
One concern I have is just throughout everything is having all of our officers well and healthy to get all upcoming events planned.
Positive Comment:
My positive comment is that the warm and fuzzy night rally was really successful and I think that everyone had a lot of fun.
Core Principles:
Evolve and grow with change- This is something that the senior Officers have definitely needed to look back at as the four of us have had some obstacles that we have had to overcome. With 3 out of 4 of us dealing with health issues that have made it challenging for all of us to be here at once, we have definitely had to adapt to the situations around us.
Be Impeccable - Being Impeccable is something that I need to hold myself accountable for. I want to be someone that others look up to and someone that gets everything done that needs to be. I struggle with procrastination, especially when it comes to me missing school. This is something I have been working on through communication with my teachers and others around me.
Your puzzle Piece matters-
Over the past few months, this has really stuck out to me as a class officer. I think that having extremely important responsibilities has helped me understand that everyone in this program has a role and we would not be the same without anyone missing from our program.
The Beacon of Empowerment- I want to be a stronger role model around campus and it is something that I can work on, however I feel like my participation in recent events has helped me prove that I can be an inspiration to others around me all around campus with events.
My Impact:
I think that over the past few months I have had a pretty big impact on not only the leadership program but also the student body. I have been able to attend all events with helping set up and clean up at most of them. I have also been extremely involved with class events decorating the trees and lemonade stands to promote class spirit.

The senior class officers were in charge of Winterfest by organizing and preparing for the week as well as participating in events as a class. I went with Lucia to get the shopping cart from Home Depot with a formally written letter. I worked on the poster, lemonade stand, and shopping cart at Ava Brochinni’s house. I filled out PO’s, ordered the basketballs and created the spirit champion trophies for the rally. As a Senior Class officer we had several meetings with Morty preparing for Winterfest. I made the canva post for our Senior Class Account promoting our dress up day for Taylor Swift. I received the announcements from each class, finalized them and forwarded them to Morty for the week. I was at the Girl’s basketball game where we presented the spirit champions. I am working on the final details for the procedure form for Winterfest. We have a meeting tomorrow to workout details of Cap and Gown pick up which will take place on February 9th at lunch.
Standing Committee:
One Standing committee that I have been a part of throughout the beginning of the year was the sign committee. I was able to help with this throughout Winterfest this will continue throughout the rest of the year.
Special Committee:
I have not had a special committee that I am a part of for the months of December and January.
Mentorship Evaluation:
Bella has been doing great, she always asks me questions when needed. This month we were able to talk about our goals and hopes for our future and I think that this made us closer as we were discussing some similar goals.
Concerns/Changes:
One concern I have is that maybe everyone is letting go of their responsibilities and not showing their true potential throughout their job title.
Positive Comment:
My positive comment is directed to Ava Brochinni. I think she completely stepped up as a leader during Winterfest and was able to make the event great.
Core Principles:
Evolve and grow with change- I think that the one thing that sticks out to me throughout EVolving and Growing with change is how we changed the voting process for Winterfest. I think this was a great way to include more bodies in the voting process and on court.
Be Impeccable - I have been working on being impeccable as I have had some obstacles throughout learning how to manage my time and be the best leader that I can be when working on certain events. With Winterfest I was able to finish my work as an officer and a student.
Your puzzle Piece matters- I think that this is something that I need to work on and everyone needs to work on as a class. I think that I need to remember that I have a strong role in leadership and I need to keep up with how important it is.
The Beacon of Empowerment- I think that I can do better on this as encouraging the student body to dress up and participate in events.
My Impact:
I think that my impact has been pretty important as I have finished the basketballs for Winterfest which was a lot of time and work that I spent finishing it. I was also able to hopefully be an example when working on winterfest to the other classes.
